Chair
Decorating the O Club on on Monday December
1st. We will start around 9:00 and work through the
day. If we don't finish up we will continue on Tuesday. Please
come join in on the fun, and enjoy the refreshments provided by the
O Club. Lunch will be provided!
Cookies for the Troops We are
estimating the need for 1200 dozen cookies this year. So pull out
your favorite recipes, and please help us with this much appreciated
event. If you bake 10 dozen cookies and bring them to the
December function you will receive your meal free!!!!!!!! Also,
if you can help on December 11th, we will again
be collecting cookies at the North Side Chapel parking lot at 0700.
We will start packing the cookies shortly after in the North Side
Chapel Annex. Please come join us, I am sure this event will
get you in the Holiday spirit!
Candy Canes And lastly,
Dave Hammond and myself will be playing Santa Claus and passing
out candy canes at the Kaiserslautern Christmas Market for the
German American Club on December 4th. We desperately need
candy canes to pass out to the children. If you could pick up a box
of candy canes and either bring them to the November function or
drop off at the ROSC office we would very much appreciate it. I
cannot tell you how much the children appreciate it, as well as the
members of the German American Club. If you happen to be at the
Christmas Market on the 4th, please stop by and say hello. We will
be in the area by the main stage at the Walkplatz.
Holiday Spectacular ROSC Social
Function: Wednesday, December 10th. Bring 10 dozen cookies for

Pokeno
Amy Rachal,
rachalfam@aol.com
What is P o k e n o ???
Pokeno is a variation of Bingo played on a
special set of cards. Everyone brings a gift and we play
for those gifts. Throw in some gift stealing with lots of
laughs and it’s no wonder why this game has become so popular!
We usually play at the Woodlawn Golf Course on
Ramstein at 9:30am usually on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
The cost is $1.00 for the hostess gift as well as a gift ($15.00
value or less) in a brown, paper bag.
We will resume play
next year after the holidays. See you then!!
If you plan on attending, please RSVP. The
golf course has a restaurant area where you can get something to
eat/drink prior to the game.
