The ROSC Welfare Committee was established for the purpose of researching and reviewing welfare donation requests in accordance with our goal of providing monetary assistance to organizations for tangible, lasting benefits and services to as many people as possible. The Ramstein Officers’ Spouses’ Club (ROSC) is a private organization located on Ramstein Air Base in Ramstein, Germany. ROSC raises funds through the production of the Ramstein Bazaar. ALL funds raised flow back into the military community, both in the KMC and abroad.
We now have a simpler process for submitting requests with an online form submission.
The ROSC Welfare Committee meets monthly (except for in June and December), and the 2019 deadlines for submitting requests are listed below. Requests approved by the Welfare Committee are then presented to the ROSC Governing Board for consideration. Some requests require additional consideration by the ROSC General Membership. Your organization will be notified when a final decision has been reached and if a check is available to mail or pick up. The process can take more than 30 days to complete.

Tips for Completing & Submitting Requests
Please fill out the ROSC Welfare Request Form as completely and in as much detail as possible. Additional justification may be added to a blank second page.
Checks will not be made payable to individuals. Please verify that your organization can accept funds in the form of a check prior to making the request. Checks must be written to a private organization.
The ROSC Welfare Committee typically meets the last Wednesday of every month (except June and December). The deadline for submission of requests is listed above.
The ROSC Governing Board typically meets the 1st Wednesday of every month. Requests will not be reviewed for approval until this date. Additionally, some requests require approval of the ROSC General Membership. Your organization will be notified when a final decision has been made.
Some important items that ROSC considers in the request:
How will the money benefit the community?
What are the long-term benefits of this donation?
Has there been an effort to raise funds on their own?
How many people will benefit from this donation?
Will this donation represent the sole source for an organization’s operating budget?
Have funds been received from other organizations?
